This Fender Custom Shop ’56 Strat is constructed with an alder body and a rift sawn maple neck in a 1959 “D” profile. The iconic double-cutaway body is treated to a one-of-a-kind Fender Custom Shop Journeyman Relic finish treatment to emulate the worn-in feel and look of a road-weary instrument. With a Journeyman Relic finish, the well-loved sheen and minor body bumps bring the aesthetic experience to life. This Stratocaster’s maple rift sawn neck is paired with a 9mm AAA rosewood fingerboard brandishing twenty-one Medium Jumbo (6150) frets and vintage clay dots. Meshing together visually with the body's Chocolate three-color sunburst finish, this exquisite piece of rosewood contributes greatly to the overall aesthetic presentation of this Custom Shop Strat.
