For most people, the thought of a quilted wool coat doesn’t typically bring a smile to their face, because with it comes colder winds and greyer skies. For me, it’s my favourite time of the year for vintage fashion. There’s nothing like wrapping up on a cold day in a coat that hugs you like a cozy blanket and stepping out all layered up with all of those luxurious Fall and Winter textiles.
Besides the obvious high quality craftsmanship of this coat, it's the decorative detailing and exaggerated collar detail that makes this for me. Minimalist styling. Quality make and feel. Fall and winter weight, fully lined, wool. Done in a deep rich black tone.
