Nihilo Concepts has totally redesigned their very popular Motor Work Stand and constructed it out of CNC machined Billet Aluminum with all Stainless Steel hardware. The new Motor Stand will accept almost every dirt bike motor from 50cc to 650cc because it is fully adjustable. Nihilo Concepts is partnered with WMR Competition Performance one of the premier Race Motor builders in the USA and at WMR they build all their race motors on this type of work stand. The only way to professionally work on a motor whether it be simply replacing the top end or splitting the cases is with the Nihilo Universal Motor Stand. Customers have been asking how they could get one of those Motor stands so a few years back Nihilo decided to make them available to everyone.
The first version was made of steel and worked great but was very heavy and bulky. The second generation was made of powder coated aluminum tubing and was much better and lighter than the original but still had room for improvement. Since we are a machine shop specializing in Moto and Off Road parts, we wanted to design a completely CNC machine motor stand so the movement and strength would be smooth, precise and strong enough to last a life time. The new stand is fully adjustable and is mounted on 12" long legs allowing it to be turned on the bench making access to either side easy. Being able to tilt the motor allows easy assembly of transmissions and other tricky parts when building your motor. The cradle tilts and clicks in with CNC precision 360 degrees allowing any angle to be locked in for comfort and ease. Once you have worked with this stand you will never go back to the old way using 2x4 blocks and having your motor sliding all over the bench.
