Malabrigo - Dos Tierras

Dos Tierras means Two Lands, reflecting the sources of the two amazing fibers found in this ultra-soft yarn. By spinning together 50% fine Uruguayan merino wool with 50% baby alpaca from Peru, Malabrigo has created a DK weight yarn that is as versatile as it is beautiful. And with this combination of drape, 4-ply construction, good stitch definition, & the amazing kettle-dyed semi-solid and variegated colors, you have the perfect palette to help show off your stitch work.  Great for accessories, hand-wash-friendly garments, next-to-skin wear, lace, cables, colorwork, and textured stitches.  Introduced in 2017.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Hand wash in cold water, gently squeeze out extra water by rolling in towel.  Dry flat.

Alice - muted lavender with a grey undertone

Aniversario - highly variegated with every vibrant color of the rainbow. Each skein is unique.

Archangel -  highly variegated yarn fading from purple to red, pink, blue, & yellow.  There are no greens in Archangel.  Each skein is unique.

Aurora - variegated pinks, roses & purples

Azul Profundo - variegated royal blue with touches of navy

Black - pure black

Cereza - blood red

Cirrus Gray - variegated medium blue, light blue & charcoal

Denim - variegated medium blue

Diana - highly variegated with all colors of the rainbow with a concentration of orange, yellow & green

Dried Orange - variegated shades of rust

English Rose-bright pink with streaks of muted purple

Fiona - variegated dark forest greens with some dark turquoise, too

Frank Ochre - dark yellow with green & orange undertones

Gris - medium grey with undertones of slate blue 

Hollyhock - Dark reddish purple with a slight marl due to the way the fibers take the color

Lettuce - bright green with yellow undertones

Matisse Blue - vibrant royale blue

Natural - natural ecru

Neverland - variegated rosy peach/pink

Paris Night - navy blue with a slight marl due to the way the fibers take the color

Pearl - light grey/silver

Pearl Ten - dark charcoal gray

Polar Morn - pale blue with gray undertones

Purpuras - very dark purple with hints of rose pink

Sunset - variegated orange to bright burnt orange

Swamp - variegated dark velvety purple with black

Ursula - highly variegated shades of lavender to dark purple with speckles of yellow, orange, blue, & turquoise

Wabi Sabi - variegated greens, teals, blues, brown and grays

Whales Road - variegated purple, teal & navy
