Description:

Definitive collection of the short fiction of an
Australian master-storyteller who is in a league of his own.

Released simultaneously with Farrar Straus Giroux's
editions of Border Districts and Collected Short Fiction in New York, an
event which is likely to get international media attention.

This volume brings together Gerald Murnane's shorter works of fiction, most
of which have been out of print for the past twenty five years. They include
such masterpieces as 'When the Mice Failed to Arrive', 'Stream System', 'First
Love', 'Emerald Blue', and 'The Interior of Gaaldine', a story which holds the
key to the long break in Murnane's career, and points the way towards his later
works, from Barley Patch to Border Districts. Much is made of
Murnane's distinctive and elaborate style as a writer, but there is no one to
match him in his sensitive portraits of family members – parents, uncles and
aunts, and particularly children – and in his probing of situations which
contain anxiety and embarrassment, shame or delight.

Gerald Murnane is the author of eleven
books of fiction, including Tamarisk Row, Inland, Barley Patch,
A History of Books, A
Million Windows and Border Districts, and a collection of
essays, Invisible Yet Enduring Lilacs, which have been published by
Giramondo. He is a recipient of the Patrick White Literary Award, the Melbourne
Prize for Literature, the Adelaide Festival Literature Award for Innovation and
the Victorian Premier's Literary Award.

Tiny Cheap Toy
Style: Coconut Tree, Style: Coconut Tree
It is way smaller than advertised and is maybe worth $0.50 cents. Only appropriate for toy breeds who do NOT chew.

This toy is about 3 inches. My dogs would eat it in one bit. It got returned.

Much smaller than ad images would lead you to believe. I honestly thought the package was empty.

Corgi Approved
Size: 12"
These "Giggler" toys are great. Not meant for the dog who likes to really "kill" it's toys as they're mostly just soft fabric. My Corgi pup is pretty gentle so far and she proudly struts around the house with this toy all day long. It's her favorite thing to play with. The rope legs are good for tug-o-war with the Heeler. The squeaker isn't annoying, either. It only makes noise when the toy is moved in a back and forth type motion. The only downside is not being able to choose the one you want. I was lucky...ordered 2 and got the frog and alligator, which are the two I wanted.

My Chuiweenie loves these.
Size: 12", Size: 12"
My aunt bought the original one for one of my other furbabies and she didn’t care much for it. We got a new puppy and this has become her favorite. We have bought a second. She loved the “giggle” sound and goes crazy when she hears it. Only downside is the plush face has a thin material that is easy for them to chew through. Also, with Amazon you may get an alligator instead of a frog lol.
