Cobalt Health is excited to present our comprehensive range of patient slings. Our UK-made sling range is designed with both the users and carers in mind. The range is designed to ensure patient comfort and safety, while also providing functionality, durability, and ease of use for carers.
The Cobalt Health Moving and Handling range offer a wide variety of slings, designed to be used with lifting and standing hoists, and are available with both loop and clip (keyhole) fittings. Sling selection should only be made after a comprehensive Risk Assessment has been completed, which will reflect each user's individual physical and cognitive characteristics as well as the task(s) to be performed.
A Universal or General Purpose sling is ideal to assist with general transfers, such as to and from a sitting or lying position. Available with or without "Head Support" depending on the patients trunk stability and their ability to control their head and torso.
