In Les Paul fashion, the Epiphone '59 Les Paul Standard features a body made of mahogany, crowned with a maple top featuring AAA flame maple veneer. Its one-piece mahogany neck is carved to a '59 Rounded Medium C profile, and topped with a laurel fingerboard featuring 22 frets. Between frets, Mother-of-Pearl Trapezoid inlays mark the front of the guitar with elegance, and the Graph Tech nut measure at 1.69 inches.
Coming stocked with Gibson Custombuckers, the Epiphone '59 Les Paul Standard captures the essence of vintage tone that only Gibson can engineer. In addition to its pickups, the electronics system offers two volume and two tone controls, along with CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, and '50s-style hand wiring throughout.
The Tobacco Burst finish of this instrument adds a touch of further vintage-inspiration and is accentuated by a beautiful single-ply binding around both the neck and body. This guitar comes complete with a deluxe brown hardshell case with a pink interior and featuring the "Inspired by Gibson" logo.
