Performance engines have many different needs for filtration, and the filter should reflect that rather than being the same as every other application. SPE Motorsport’s filters are tailored for performance applications. During the filter design process, all of these factors are taken into account.
As an industry leader, SPE Motorsport has the responsibility to perfect the mold design and process so that there is almost virtually no pleat bleed. To better explain, pleat bleed is when the rubber bleeds into the actual filter material, decreasing the overall surface area and therefore hindering the performance of the filter.
The SPE Motorsport Drop-In Filter for the 2023+ Raptor R is made from cotton non-woven filter material that can be run dry or oiled. This filter is a direct drop-in replacement for the OEM factory filter offering highly-efficient air filtration resulting in better performance and protection for your engine.
