The present work was composed sometime before 1778, the year Gttweig monastery acquired a copy. The work seems to have circulated fairly widely in central Europe and at least a dozen copies have been preserved. Unlike Wanhal's Missa Pastoralis (published as AE310) C7 belongs to the mainstream of the 18th-century Viennese concerted mass tradition. Its employment of the organ as a concertato instrument in the Quoniam is a little unusual for Wanhal but it has many precedents in the masses of Leopold Hofmann and others. One feature which distinguishes this mass from many other works of the period it is its modern instrumentation. The typical Viennese missa solemnis of the period was scored for choir - possibly with concertato voices - 2 clarini (high trumpets), timpani, 2 violins, violoncello, violone (a small double bass) and organ. A pair of trombones was generally used to double the ripieno alto and tenor voices and a bassoon might be added to the bass line if it were readily available. C7, however, omits the customary trombones and includes a pair of oboes and a full string section with an independent viola part. With the exception of the organ continuo the forces used by Wanhal in the work are virtually identical with those in many of his symphonies. His use of the oboes raises some interesting questions. Oboes were considered secular instruments during the mid-18th century, and, like the more lascivious horns, had even been excluded from church orchestras at one stage by papal edict. Although we know that this ban was not very strictly enforced, it is interesting to note that in 1783 when a census of church musicians was carried out in Vienna only one church numbered oboists in its orchestral ranks. It is possible, therefore, that this mass - and others by Wanhal - was commissioned either for performance in a private chapel or by one of the great monastic houses like Gttweig whose members had assiduously collected the composer's symphonies from the very outset of his career.

This edition is based on a set of contemporary MS parts (ex Archiv Schminder, St. Plten) now preserved in the Austrian National Library under the shelfmark Mus.Hs.22290. The wrapper reads: ' Nro.88/1 / Missa in C / a / 4 Voc: /Violinis 2bus in Dupl: / Obois 2bus / Clarin 2bus / Timpano / Viola / con / Organo e Violone / Del Signore Vanhall /[ incipt]

In the absence of both the autograph score and an authentic set of parts, this edition presents as aithfully as possible the intentions of the composer as transmitted in the Viennese parts. The style and notation of articulation and dynamic markings have been standardised throughout and, where missing from the source, markings have been reconstructed from parallel passages. These are indicated by the use of dotted slurs or brackets. Like most eighteenth century sources, the present manuscript is inconsistent at in its notation of appoggiature; these too have been standardised to minimise confusion. Obvious wrong notes have been corrected without comment; text underlay, where confused in the source, has been corrected; editorial emendations with no authority from the source are placed within brackets. Love it.
Color: Rainy-Rainbow
This glitter is gorgeous on. Really easy to apply, sprays evenly and a good amount at once. It wasn’t a nightmare to deal with either clinging to things it fell/rubbed onto which I was pleasantly surprised by. It cleans up very well. A little goes a long way too, so it should last a while. It stayed on my body fairly well throughout the night too. I have really sensitive skin so I was hesitant to even get glitter at all. I tried body glitter 2 years ago but it was a liquid spray kind and I broke out in an intense rash all over. I also have a chronic hive condition so my skin flares up from products due to sensitivity. I did not have ANY issues with this glitter.

Absolutely Stunning Glitter with Thoughtful Packaging! | Rainy Rainbow
Color: Rainy-Rainbow, Color: Rainy-Rainbow
This glitter is breathtaking! The sparkles catch the light very beautifully — it has a mesmerizing, holographic shine that’s perfect for adding extra pizzazz to any project. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was packaged. The box was securely sealed, and everything inside was perfectly intact—minor spills, no mess. A heads up on opening the entire thing: the round container’s Lid is screwed on VERY LOOSELY. Be mindful when you’re unboxing. Screw it back on very tightly. The spray nozzle on this bottle gives such a beautiful, antique perfume vibe—it really elevates the whole experience. It sprays the glitter perfectly, so it’s easy to get a flawless application every time. (Don’t forget to keep the little nozzle cover to protect it!) Honestly, I wouldn’t apply it any other way than with the bottle—it just makes everything so much smoother. 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you happen to go overboard, just grab the closest shirt and wipe off any excess. No point in wasting any of this stuff! :) Oh, & those two little gloss bottles are actually glue, which is perfect for keeping everything right where you need it to be. Here’s a little pro tip: I used the same tape that kept the box sealed to reseal the lid of the round glitter container until I’m ready to use it. Worked like a charm! 😎 It’s a small detail, but it will keep everything neat, and prevent unwanted glitter explosions in the future. If you’re a sparkle lover, you’ll adore this glitter—it’s as pretty in person as it looks online!

Great glitter body spray
Color: Fairy-Diamond, Color: Fairy-Diamond
So cute. Came with extra glitter, I’m assuming lipgloss you can make into glitter lipgloss, a funnel to help pour the glitter. Or re load your spray. The spray performance is nice. Might stick better with some oil before hand? But I like it so far. Worked 6 hours and still had glitter on me for my photoshoot. I sprayed perfume and then glitter. There’s no odor. The amount of quantity of glitter you get seems good for the price. Durability seems good so far but like I said may need some oil or lotion first to help it stick all day.

Troll glitter
Color: Brandy-Rose
Do not spray too much! This glitter is so fine that it dispenses easily from the puff part and you can easily make yourself look like Poppy the troll. We had so much fun with this for prom
