By placing tinder inside the plunger and pressing it down vigorously, the compressed air generates heat of up to 400°C, igniting the tinder quickly and reliably without the need for electricity or matches.
Crafted from high-quality black anodised aluminium, the Petromax Fire Plunger includes both the plunger and its body, each end featuring securely threaded caps.
