Β

A seriously cool piece of early Japanese metal history. This 1983 Aria Pro II XX Deluxe V is a proper old-school shred machine from the golden era of pointy guitars, built in Japan when Aria were producing some outstanding instruments.

Β

The XX series arrived in the early 80s alongside the ZZ and U series models, aimed directly at the exploding hard rock and heavy metal scene of the time. Sharp body shapes, wild graphics and fast necks were the order of the day, and this thing absolutely looks the part.

Β

Finished in its original black finish with factory yellow lightning graphic, this one has real stage presence and a vibe that modern reissues just don’t capture. It has clearly been played over the years with chips, marks and wear as shown in the photos, particularly around the points and edges, but it still presents brilliantly and feels authentic to the era.

Β

The guitar plays great with a comfortable action and sounds exactly how you’d want an early 80s Japanese V to sound, punchy, raw and full of attitude.

Β

Β

A few things to note condition-wise. There appears to be some sort of tape or covering around the truss rod area on the headstock. We have not removed this so cannot confirm what is underneath, though it is likely covering an old repair or cosmetic damage. The rear tremolo cavity backplate is also missing.

Β

Aside from this, the guitar shows genuine age and play wear throughout with chips, scratches and edge wear consistent with a well-used early 80s instrument, but it remains structurally solid, plays very well and has loads of character.

Β

A rare survivor from the golden age of Japanese metal guitars and not something you see every day in the UK.

Better Design - Better Materials - No Sticking
Style: 2.5" Ball
Been using Chuck-It launchers and plastic balls for a very long time and they were always a little sticky on giving up the ball. This makes it tricky to throw grounders with precision and can overshoot the fence in the backyard. A couple of years ago, Chuck-It changed the material to a stiffer plastic that made this problem more pronounced. I even tried custom sanding the cup to get just the right grip. The Fetch-It launcher (using the Chuck-It plastic balls) uses a three-pronged claw with soft rubbery ends that releases perfect every time. The material costs on this new one are noticeably higher while maintaining a somewhat lower price than the brand name original.

Meh
Style: 2.5" Ball
It "works" but it isn't very good. The grip is so loose on the ball, it lets go early and doesn't thrown very far. A Chuckit is so much better, I can get 3x the distance with a 25" Chuckit. This thing is kind of a waste.

🧦 Simple & Effective – ZenToes Moisturizing Socks Review ✨
Color: Green Gingham & Multi Plaid, Size: Regular
These ZenToes moisturizing socks are such a smart and effective solution for dry, cracked heels! I really like that they only cover the heels instead of the whole footβ€”no hot, sweaty toes, which is a huge plus. They come in a pack of two, and for the price, it’s a great value. I also found that they fit well and stayed in place overnight. They were a bit snug around my foot, but still comfortable enough to wear. What really impressed me is how well they work. The socks are nice and thick, and after just one use overnight, my heels were noticeably smoother. Even betterβ€”the results lasted about a week without needing any extra lotion, which I personally love since I’m not a fan of applying creams. I would definitely buy these again and highly recommend them if you’re looking for an easy, low-maintenance way to keep your heels soft.

They work!!
Color: Fuzzy Slate Gray, Size: Regular, Color: Fuzzy Slate Gray, Size: Regular
I bought these to replace a very old pair that I originally got at Bed Bath and Beyond like 20+ yrs ago, and the fabric was starting to fray. However, the gel pad inside (at the heel) was still working just fine. Anyway, this new set includes 2 pairs, with a gel pad inside each heel area. Results are truly amazing, I kid you not. You can use them without a moisturizer, but I like to put moisturizer on my heels, then wear these overnight, and in the morning my heels are soft, with no dry skin and NO cracks. I like the fact that these are kind of soft and fuzzy (outside), but I LOVE that they leave your toes exposed and cool (because my heels feel kind of warm from the moisturizer and gel pad). They are of good thickness, and I feel they will last a long time (of course remains to be seen). Highly recommend.

Perfect for cracked heals β™₯️
Color: Cheetah, Size: Regular, Color: Cheetah, Size: Regular
These are thick not cheaply made, has a nice texture inside the heal area which I love. I wear them at night after I apply Aquaphor to my heels & while sleeping they are very comfortable. I slipped these guys on & my heels are healing so much faster no more cracked heels for me. πŸ˜ƒ I highly recommend them.
