This vessel is a marvel of engineering, an electric-powered submarine that allows Captain Nemo to travel across vast oceans on voyages and missions, all with the aim of exploring and uncovering hidden treasures.
You, the player, will have the opportunity to slip into Captain Nemo's shoes and take the helm of this magnificent vessel! Along the way, you will come face to face with dangers both large and small and it is up to you, the player, to decide Nemo's fate!
Nemo's War Second Edition comes after the original, highly successful first edition from Victory Point Games. This game is predominantly a solitaire affair, but can be set up to accommodate 2-4 players. Your mission throughout Nemo's War is to survive. Survive all threats that come upon you, from creatures of the deep to enemy vessels. Survive these threats until the Finale card is drawn from the adventure deck and then you can take on the biggest challenge yet! Be sure to prepare yourself though! Your ship will need to be upgraded along the way to ensure you can cope with the many encounters you will have and to be able to come out of these fights unscathed! During your journey, you will collect victory points which will all add up at the end of the game to see if you have been able to meet your goal, your initial motive, and win the game!
