NM Engineering’s Upper Tie-Bar is designed to reinforce the already stellar MINI Cooper chassis. Installation reduces fore and aft, as well as side-to-side chassis flex during spirited driving, which helps to eliminate unwanted geometry/alignment change. This results in better steering response and better handling.
Attention to detail and performance are NM Engineering’s forte and this part does not disappoint. The 6061-T6 aluminum mounting pads will eliminate strut tower "mushrooming" be reinforcing the upper mount and is attached to mounts studs with shouldered long-reach nuts to make sure that the bar and front suspension is secured by more than just a few threads. In addition, when you look at the underside of the pads, you will notice two machined pocket that accommodate the upper strut bearing locator pin on either side while concealing it from view. Finally, the simplest, yet most overlooked feature may be the twin mounting bolts on each side that attach the bar to the mounting pads. Most others use a single bolt to secure each side of the bar to the mounting pads. The problem with that, is no matter how tight you cinch that bolt, the bar can still pivot at that point rendering them ineffective against chassis flex.

very poor quality

they are a peice of garbage, within about a month since i started wearing them the outer material started pealing off within two months the upper separated from the soles so i had to go to a shoemaker to sew them back together, within some few months the insoles completely wore out rendering the shoes unwearable, now mind you that i do not abuse shoes but use them in a normal office oriented enviorment, i will for sure not be buying these shoes again

Great Step In Shoe
Size: 11, Color: Cognac
For people (like me) that have physical and/or medical issues that makes it difficult to bend over to put shoes on, or even to just tie shoes, these shoes make that process so much easier! I have been wearing similar "step in" shoes from another manufacturer (Kizix) that has stopped making leather shoes that are more stylish and business like, similar to this. I haven't tried to polish them yet, but I assume that they will shine up just fine - and they look good now, with a great finish. The sole of the shoe is a solid rubber and I don't slip when I am wearing these, and I am quite impressed by their quality. I look forward to getting another style soon.
