Maniototo Intersections  - The Maniototo has one the largest networks of unsealed roads in New Zealand and when we drive through these out of the way interesections we dont give it a great deal of thought.  However there is beauty in the intricacy, delcacy and detail of these often passed by peices of engineering when viewed from the air.  Photographed byy award winning photographer Janyne Fletcher GMNZIPP, this image won a Gold Award at the 2021 NZIPP Iris awards.  In 2024 this image received a silver award at the Australian Photographic Prize Competition.

  • This is an archival photographic print on textured cotton rag fine art paper and printed using archival pigment inks to give long lasting quality.
  • Year of Creation: 2021, Central Otago, New Zealand
  • Dimensions: 880mm x 880mm (framed)
  • Includes certificate of authenticity guaranteeing the quality and provenance of each edition.
  • Custom framed in a black bevel frame (40mm wide)

        I have owned many sheepskins before and this one is by far the best deal. Cheaper than similar sizes, but not in a bad way! It’s a beautiful creamy white, super plush, and is very long. We keep it on the back of our couch and it gives a very cozy vibe. I haven’t had any issues with it shedding. Word of advice for cat owners: When we first got it, it did have a sheepskin smell but it isn’t a gross smell and it went away within a few days; however, my cat was very attracted to that smell and was “attacking” the sheepskin. We trained her not to do it just by spraying her with water—after a few times of that she stopped going anywhere near it. Now that the smell has dissipated, she isn’t attracted to it anymore but does like to sit on it every once and awhile (I can’t blame her, it’s sooooo soft). I saw someone else say their cat ruined their rug, so I wanted to give our story on how we prevented that and hopes it helps another cat owner. You just have to be alert for the first day, maybe even let it off-gas outside first, then keep a spray bottle nearby and the cat should stop messing with it!

        On the fence? This is the sheepskin to get!

        I've been reading all the reviews for sheepskins on AMZ and felt this company was the one to go for and WOW did they deliver! The sheepskin came well wrapped but not vacuum packed and is even prettier in person than the pictures. It is super soft, fluffy and dense and mine measured 26" x 40". I absolutely love the wolf tipped colors: ivory, dark grey and a slight brownish hue. There is a slight odor but I don't find it offensive. It stayed put on my leather couch and sitting on it during a Netflix movie was heavenly warm and comfortable. I did not observe any shedding. Will definitely buy another wolf tipped one, once it becomes available as it is worth the money.
