Celebrating 70 years since the 1955 NAMM show, we have this excellent Gibson Custom Shop 1955 NAMM Show Commemorative Edition Les Paul finished in Samoa Beige. The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) is a not-for-profit global trade association dedicated to the music products industry. Since 1902 companies like Gibson would present their finest products to dealers, press, and show visitors at the annual show. In 1955, the show took place in Chicago, IL where Gibson unveiled 5 uniquely finished Les Paul's in metallic nitrocellulose lacquer car finishes – Samoa Beige being one of them. With this commemorative edition guitar, we invite you to own a little piece of history.

For the famed '55 NAMM trade show Les Paul, Custom Shop went to great lengths to recreate the model, as the originals where made in limited quantities and little is known about their whereabouts today. The body is constructed from a single-cutaway, 1-piece lightweight mahogany. The body is capped with a 2-piece plain maple top and is affixed by hide glue. A 1-ply cream royalite strip of binding perfectly wraps around the top and accents the cream plastics. The team at Custom Shop even went as far as color matching the control knobs to match the Samoa Beige finish. The body features 2 Custom Shop Soapbar P-90 pickups that have been hand-wired to 500k CTS potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors.

True to vintage spec, the 1-piece mahogany neck has a long neck tenon and 1950s Chunky "D" shape profile. The bound neck is glued into the body in a traditional set-neck design and is topped with an Indian rosewood fingerboard, 22 historic narrow-tall frets, and aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid fret markers. The headstock features the period correct "low logo" and nylon nut. New to the Les Paul in 1955, a no-wire ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece keeps strings stable and fully adjustable while strings are tuned to pitch with the Kluson tuning machines.

The Les Paul has undergone Gibson's premium Murphy Lab Light Aged finish treatment to provide the look and feel of a 70 year old well-loved instrument. Hardware patina, light checking, and a "broken in" feel bring out the guitars character and invite you to play it without being too nice. The Les Paul comes complete in its brown/pink Lifton 5-latch case and is accompanied by its COA.

Although most of the originals have been lost to time, this incredible Gibson Custom Shop recreation of the 1955 NAMM Samoa Beige Les Paul is 1 of 70 examples worldwide. Collect a piece of Les Paul history and play this one loud!

It works, but there’s some improvement needed.
The Apple Pencil Pro is easy to write with, not heavy like the other reviews made it seem, very nice and simple design, great battery life, great pressure sensitivity, and the squeeze feature and wireless charging is a nice touch. Theres one issue though, I’m an artist and student and I do a lot of work on my iPad. The pencil (or my iPad) glitches and randomly and switches me over to the eraser tool in the middle of me writing/drawing even when I turned the squeeze feature off.

Wonderful product!
I got the Apple Pencil (USB-C) a few months ago and I’ve honestly been so impressed with it. It pairs instantly with my iPad and starts working right away — no complicated setup at all. The USB-C charging is super convenient, especially since I already use the same charger for other devices. The writing experience feels incredibly smooth and natural. It’s very responsive with no noticeable lag, which makes taking notes, highlighting, and drawing feel effortless. I also love how precise it is — it makes writing neatly and editing small details really easy. It’s lightweight but still feels high-quality and durable. For note-taking, journaling, planning, or casual drawing, it does exactly what I need without the higher price tag of the Pro version. Overall, I think it’s a great value and a perfect choice if you want reliable performance without paying extra for features you may not need.

Apple Pencil (USB-C): Device Compatibility Check Required
I’m extremely happy with this Apple Pencil! It connected to my iPad quickly and works flawlessly. The writing and drawing experience feels smooth and natural, almost like writing on paper. It’s very responsive with no lag, and the battery life is excellent. Perfect for note-taking, sketching, editing, and everyday productivity. The quality definitely matches the price, and it has made using my iPad so much more convenient. Highly recommend for students, creatives, or anyone wanting to get more out of their iPad.

Perfect if you want to use Procreate
I wasn’t sure if this would work as well as the regular iPencil, because I had read this one doesn’t have features the more expensive one has. And I have to say, whatever those extra features are I’m not missing them! This works great, it’s very accurate, amazing quality. Considering how much I’m using it in Procreate, I would say it’s more than paid for itself! As expensive as it seems, it’s been a great value for the money. It’s easy to use and the design is simple. You just have to remember to occasionally plug it in to charge it- the end slides open, revealing a type-C charger port. But the battery life on it lasts a long time. I’ve used it all day before without it dying on me! That reminds me, I should probably go plug it in now…
