SKELETON AXE WITH METAL HANDLE ENGRAVED WITH VIKING COMPASS (VEGVISIR)

Looking for an unusual hand crafted axe? Here it is!

A compact outdoors axe, with engraved axe head (with Viking compass - vegvisir and personalized with runes), hand-forged and made from carbon steel using traditional blacksmith methods.

Length of the handle (made of steel): 50 cm (19.69")
Length of the axe head: 28 cm (11.03")
Working length of the blade: 10.5 cm (4.14")
Net weight: 2.3 kg (5.06 lbs)

Color of the handle: painted in some black, with a nice black paracord.

It is not a fully functional axe. It can be fully functional if you weld properly a place of connection a head with a handle, 15 seconds of welding and you have a fully functional axe.

There might be some minor unevennesses in the axe head surface due to hand work. The axe head is engraved with viking compass - Vegvisir and personalized with runes). The handle is done in a view of a skeleton.

IMPORTAND CONDITIONS (in order for it not to be treated as a cold weapon in Ukraine and allow exportation by the customs from Ukraine):
1. It will be sent in two parcels: separately axe and separately a handle with screw-nuts.
2. Upon receiving two parcels you will easily combine the axe head with the axe handle by screw-nuts.

Any of your two images can be engraved on the axe head. Personalization is also possible (latin letters, runes etc).
Please send me your images and personalized data and I will engrave them on the axe head. By default there will be only viking compass engraved.

The way how it was created: we combine traditional blacksmith techniques, perfected over hundreds of years of experimentation and development , with modern forms and methods to produce beautifully distinct pieces of functional art. Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron is shaped into graceful, flowing forms. In our world of high technology, there is a distinct place for organic forms and hand-wrought metal design elements.
