IMPORTANT: NeilMed® SINUS RINSE™ Mixture Packets should be used with NeilMed® 240 mL (8 fl oz) NASAFLO® to achieve the best results. You may use NeilMed® packets with other irrigation devices, as long as you mix with the correct volume of water. Our recommendation is to replace Neti Pot every three months.

Step 1 Please wash your hands and rinse the device. Fill the NASAFLO® with 240 mL (8 fl oz) of lukewarm distilled, filtered or previously boiled water. Please do not use tap or faucet water to dissolve the mixture unless it has been previously boiled and cooled down. You may warm the water in a microwave, but we recommend that you warm it in increments of 5 to 10 seconds to avoid overheating, damaging the device or scalding your nasal passage.

Step 2 Cut the SINUS RINSE™ mixture packet at the corner and pour contents into the pot. Tighten the lid on the device securely. Place one finger over the hole of the cap and shake the device gently to dissolve the mixture.

Step 3 Standing in front of a sink, bend forward to your comfort level and tilt your head to one side. Keeping your mouth open, and without holding your breath, apply the tip of the device snugly against your nasal passage and ALLOW THE SOLUTION TO GENTLY FLOW until the solution starts draining from the opposite nasal passage. Use roughly half the solution in the NASAFLO® (120 mL / 4 fl oz). It should not enter your mouth unless you are tilting your head backwards. To adjust or stop the flow, you may place your finger over the hole of the cap, and depending on the seal, you may be able to control the flow.

Step 4 Blow your nose very gently, without pinching nose completely to avoid pressure on eardrums. If tolerable, sniff in gently any residual solution remaining in the nasal passage once or twice, because this may clean out the posterior nasopharyngeal area, which is the area at the back of your nasal passage. At times, some solution will reach the back of your throat, so please spit it out. For NASAFLO® users, to help drain any residual solution, blow your nose gently while tilting your head forward and to the same side of the nasal passage you just rinsed.

Step 5 Now repeat steps 3 & 4 on your other nasal passage. If there is any solution left over, please discard it. We recommend you make a fresh solution each time you rinse. Rinse once or twice daily OR as directed by your physician.

Saline is considered safe.
The U.S. FDA is recommending that common cough and cold over the counter medicines not be given to babies and toddlers, and that antihistamines should not be given to children under age 6. NeilMed® NASAFLO®: Please clean with soap & water and let air dry.

WARNINGS

Please read Warnings before using. Our recommendation is to replace the Neti Pot every three months.

Always rinse your nasal passages with NeilMed® SINUS RINSE™ packets only. Our packets contain a mixture of USP grade sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate. These ingredients are of the purest quality available to make the dry powder mixture. Rinsing your nasal passages with only plain water without our mixture will result in a severe burning sensation as the plain water is not physiologic for your nasal lining, even if it is appropriate for drinking. Additionally, for your safety, do not use tap or faucet water for dissolving the mixture unless it has been previously boiled for five minutes or more as boiling sterilizes the water. Other choices are distilled, micro-filtered (through 0.2 micron), commercially bottled or, as mentioned earlier, previously boiled water at lukewarm or body temperature. You can store boiled water in a clean container for seven days or more if refrigerated. Do not use non-chlorinated or non-ultra (0.2 micron) filtered well water unless it is boiled and then cooled to lukewarm or body temperature. Do not rinse if your nasal passages are completely blocked or if you have an ear infection or blocked ears. If you have had recent ear or sinus surgery, contact your physician prior to irrigation. If you experience any pressure in the ears or burning in the nasal passages, stop irrigation and get further directions from your physician. Keep out of reach of children. Read and retain this enclosed brochure for instructions and other important information.

Always Use Distilled or Micro-Filtered (through 0.2 micron) or Commercially Bottled or Previously Boiled & Cooled Down Water at Lukewarm or Body Temperature. Please do not use tap or faucet water when using NeilMed's nasal wash devices unless it has been previously boiled and cooled down.

Rinse your nasal passages only with NeilMed® SINUS RINSE™ packets. Our packets contain a mixture of USP grade sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate. These ingredients are the purest quality available to make the dry powder mixture. Rinsing your nasal passages with only plain water will result in a severe burning sensation. Use distilled, micro-filtered (through 0.2 micron), commercially bottled or previously boiled & cooled down water at lukewarm or body temperature, properly mixed with NeilMed® SINUS RINSE™ packets. Do not use tap or faucet water for dissolving the mixture unless it has been previously boiled and cooled down. Do not rinse if nasal passages are completely blocked or if you have an ear infection or blocked ears.

If you have had recent ear or sinus surgery, contact your physician prior to irrigation. If you experience any pressure in the ears or burning in the nasal passages, stop irrigation and get further directions from your physician. Keep out of reach of children. Read and retain this enclosed brochure, if provided, for instructions and other important information.

We recommend that you use the rinse ONE HOUR PRIOR to bedtime in order to avoid any residual solution dripping down the throat.
We strongly advise against the use of our kit on children or adults who have physical limitations or mental disabilities due to developmental or acquired disorders. Adults should read the directions first before using it on their children. Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow the solution; however, if you do so accidentally, there is no harm as the amount of sodium ingested in one swallow is insignificant.
Patients who are unable to stand up or bend near the sink SHOULD NOT use this product. We advise you NOT to use this kit on patients who are bed bound or severely debilitated.

Tips To Avoid Ear Discomfort While Rinsing
If you have had ear surgery, please contact your physician prior to irrigation.
Do not use if you have an ear infection or blocked ears.
Rinse with lukewarm distilled, filtered or previously boiled water.
Keep your mouth open.
Do not hold your breath while rinsing.
While rinsing, make sure to tilt your head as shown in the photo below.
Gently squeeze the bottle while rinsing; do not squeeze the bottle very forcefully.
Stop the rinse if you feel a sensation of fluid near your ears.
Most importantly, always blow your nose very gently.

To Avoid Unexpected Drainage After Rinsing: In rare situations, especially if you have had sinus surgery, the saline solution can pool in the sinus cavities and nasal passages and then drip from your nostrils hours after rinsing. To avoid this harmless but annoying inconvenience, take one extra step after rinsing: lean forward, tilt your head sideways and gently blow your nose. Then, tilt your head to the other side and blow again. You may need to repeat this several times. This will help rid your nasal passages of any excess mucus and remaining saline solution. If you find yourself experiencing delayed drainage often, do not rinse right before leaving your house or going to bed.

Caution against using homemade salt mixtures with NeilMed® medical devices: Homemade solutions may have incorrect concentrations, leading to inadequate relief or even nasal congestion. Additionally, store bought table salt and baking soda are not pharmaceutical grade compounds for medical use and may contain impurities.
The NeilMed® SINUS RINSE™ system is a large volume nasal rinse that will deliver 120mL to 240mL(8 fl oz) of saline solution into the nasal passages. Adding one blue packet of NeilMed SINUS RINSE™ to 240mL(8 fl oz) of water will make an Isotonic saline solution (Hypertonic with 2 or more packets) that is pH balanced and preservative free.

very strong for puppies with strong jaws.
Color: Brown-O, Color: Brown-O
I have a five month old puppy and she was having very bad teething. I know every puppy goes through it and it's usually a nuisance because they chew shoes or things that you don't want them to chew. This puppy would find a plastic coat hanger and try to chew it with her back teeth. I think she was cutting her molars and it was hurting her. She wasn't eating and she was drooling and whining. I felt so bad for her. She was trying to chew anything that could reach back to her back teeth. This product really helped her because it got back there and it is really strong. She is a Pitbull puppy and she already has a really strong jaw so a coat hanger didn't last long. This Teething ring did help and it got her through the worst of it. I really like it for that reason. If you have a teething puppy this is the right way to go. It doesn't squeak and it has a flavor that kept her coming back to it but the it didn't have a funky smell when she left it around like hooves or bully stick do. It also has a bumpy, rough surface that must have felt good on her gums.

Durable, fun, and good for aggressive chewers
Color: grass-green
I have bought this toy for my dog twice now, and the first time I purchased it, it quickly became his favorite. Unfortunately, I lost the first one when some other dogs took it down the street while we were playing outside. It was a bit heartbreaking to lose it, but after about two weeks, we managed to find the old one. However, it was in the middle of the street and had been run over several times, resulting in a broken squeaker. Despite its rough condition, it was clear how much my dog loved that toy. When I bought the new one, I was relieved to see that he doesn’t let it out of his sight at all. We have so much fun together, playing with it by throwing it in lakes, sandy areas, and engaging with other dogs. Even after all this rough play, the new toy is still intact. My dog particularly enjoys the squeaker feature, which adds to his excitement during playtime. He is an aggressive chewer, but this toy has proven to be more durable and has lasted us much longer than most of the other toys we've tried. It has definitely become a staple in our playtime routine!

This is my dogs' new favorite chew toy. They chew them all the time and have held up way better than most other chew toys.

Nope, not for Murphy the alligator hunter! 🐊🙄
Color: grass-green, Color: grass-green
Murphy, our 75 pound lab, loves to chew. We can’t give him anything soft or even anything remotely made for casual play as he chews them to pieces- literally. So when I saw this cute little alligator, with fairly good reviews, I bought it with high expectations. Nope. It didn’t have a chance- It’s in the garbage. ☹️ First I have to comment on the eyes. I don’t know what they are made of, but the “whites” of the eyes pealed off like paint within the first few minutes Murphy had it. He wasn’t even chewing at the eyes; they just pealed off. I can’t imagine that is good for dogs to ingest, but ok, I threw the white pieces away, and gave it back to him. I do have to say that he loved chewing on it- even without adding any kind of treat to it. So we watched him chew at it for about 30-40 minutes without it being dissected into a million different parts. I was impressed.... Until I took it away from him to be played with later.... during this time he was able to tear parts of the mouth (see pictures), and while all pieces are still in tact, I cannot imagine another 30 minutes of him having this in one piece. So, while I’m very aware that Murphy has limited toys to chew on, I will continue my search for indestructible toys for his chewing pleasure.

Cute toy maybe not for aggressive chewers
Color: grass-green
I bought this because I have an 3 1/2 yr old golden doodle. She tears every toy apart within half hour of having it. The only toys she hasn’t is Kong toys. This is a cute toy. She was shredding pieces off the rubber with half hour of chewing it:( I thought it was very similar to the material of Kong toys? She loves chewing it and playing with it but I probably would not buy it for really aggressive large dogs who tear up toys.
