Traditional (unisex) Jordanian Vested Farwa! Hand stitched in Amman, Jordan for Fall, Winter and Spring seasons. A gorgeous faux suede exterior with beautiful embroidery done by hand. The interior is a soft faux fur (animal conscious!) fabric to keep you snug during the chill. The coat is made to be baggy, worn over clothing, any occasion. Very comfortable and fits most sizes!

Our AShami Gillet is named after Bilad al-Sham, a region of the Middle-East often referred to as Syria in English-language sources. This vast area was conquered by the Muslims in 634-647 and became a province of the Rashidun, Umayyad, Abbasid, and Fatimid caliphates.
Bilad al-Sham was first organized into the four ajnad (military districts; singular jund) of Filastin (Palestine), al-Urdunn (Jordan), Dimashq (Damascus), and Hims (Homs), between 637 and 640 by Caliph Umar following the Muslim conquest.

I ordered a few of these in different patterns. They fit great (I used to be a L/XL, now I'm down to a M/L). The price is a third of similar shirts from other Men's stores and fit the same. They look great with jeans or slacks, tucked or untucked, with or without a jacket.

The shirt is nice and fits well. However, it's not slim fit. It's just regular fit and "slim fit" should be removed from the description.
