Horween has taken the same tanning process and recipe and applied it to much thicker hides, resulting in leather clocking in at 8-9oz or about 3.5mm thick. Seven holes allow for sizing versatility and if you're inclined to change out the brass buckle, the brass Chicago posts make it easy. Like the boots, expect the leather to evolve with wear, from a smooth waxed surface, to spots with a rough nap. Made here in the PNW.

Sizing: These belts are 1.5" wide and for sizing, we recommend taking your pants size and adding 2, therefore if you are a pants size 34, go with a size 36 belt.

This style of belt is designed so that, if desired, you can loosen the Chicago screws and the buckle can easily be replaced. If you never intend to replace the buckle, to prevent undesired loosening, you can use loctite (blue) inside the Chicago screw post.
