Each museum quality illumination is made with bright archival water resistant inks on velvety smooth lightfast acid free pH neutral 100% cellulose German Etching paper by Hahnemhle whos papers have been prized in European houses of nobility for centuries for their highest levels of craftsmanship and superb durability.

| Only 50 F.H. illuminations each of two sizes will be made from the original 2.5"x3.5" watercolor and 24k gold illumination. It features a Turkish and Egyptian styled bird based loosely on a tile that resides in the Leighton House Museum in London and was presented as inspiration in a class with Ayesha Gamiet. The origional tile had a different bird eating a snake. This is a fictional bird with a ribbon instead. I painted it when I had Covid-19. I was very dizzy at the time so was content to work very detailed in a small space. The name inspiration is from the Falcon Heavy rocket and the paints were hand made by a friend in Turkey. © BKS 2021 |
