At this height the transfer case is indexed with a supplied indexing ring and new transmission crossmember to allow use of the factory front driveshaft. In the rear it uses a high-strength steel lift block, longer u-bolts and a matching set of shocks.

- Vehicles equipped with a Manual T-case require BDS122423 Manual transfer case shifter extension.
- Vehicles equipped with a 2-piece rear drive shaft (carrier bearing) require BDS122406 Carrier bearing drop.
- Ram offers an optional Aisin heavy-duty 6-speed transmission in the 3500 trucks that uses a different transfer case mounting bolt pattern (8-bolt). The 8-bolt kit also includes an internal shaft seal extension and new shaft seal.
