Bombers have precisely combined stainless-steel joints with the Bomber Blue material to create a smooth profile. A steel core ensures strength and stability, while the injection-moulded exterior reduces overall weight and provides a more comfortable feel for the horse.
The elliptical (lozenge) centre applies gentle tongue pressure to help bring the horse’s head into position. The sides of the mouthpiece wrap around the lower jaw, creating a light squeezing action that encourages the horse to stretch and engage through the neck.
The loose rings keep the bit mobile in the horse's mouth, encouraging gentle mouthing and discouraging 'fixing' against the contact. They also allow for immediate relief from tongue and bar pressure when rein aids are relaxed, thus rewarding the horse quickly for a correct response.
