This Performance Air Intake System allows your engine to breathe more air compared to the restrictive factory air intake housing. It is designed, tuned and dyno-tested to produce more horsepower and torque. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. A custom shaped heat shield with lid is included. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). This Air Intake System is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Not pleased- No holes predrilled in wood!
Love the look of it and should have been a good review BUT there were absolutely no holes drilled and a total of 64 screws to put in. So I have 2 slabs of solid wood and the pipes. I could have purchased and made it myself if it doesn’t even come with pre drilled holes in the wood. Have to get someone to drill all the holes for me and hope the can line them up properly before I can put together. Hope it works as returning this large and heavy of an item would be difficult. Very disappointed in what should have been a great item.
