The Gibson Custom 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Darkback Reissue VOS in Double Gold is a true masterpiece from the Custom Shop. It's a faithful recreation of the iconic 1957 Les Paul Goldtop, with a Double Gold finish that's sure to turn heads and steal any spotlight.

But this guitar is more than just a pretty face - it's packed with period-correct specs that make it a true standout among its relatives. Let's start with the pickups. The two unpotted Custombucker Alnico III pickups are designed to perfectly replicate the legendary pickups of the original 1957 Les Paul Goldtop. Linked up with CTS Audio Taper pots and paper-in-oil caps, the result is a rich, warm sound that's instantly recognizable as classic vintage Gibson.

The mahogany body sits beneath a two-piece plain maple top, that's finished in a gorgeous thin nitrocellulose Double Gold color. The dark back adds an air of sophistication and class to the guitar's overall aesthetic, and the VOS (Vintage Original Spec) finish treatment gives it an authentic vintage appearance and feel.

The 50s rounded medium C-shaped mahogany neck provides a familiar Gibson profile that's comfortable for a multitude of playing styles. It joins the body with a long tenon, rock-solid hide glue fit, which allows for seamless transference of vibrations. Atop it sits an Indian Rosewood fingerboard rich in grain, dark in color, that's highlighted with aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays. The no-wire ABR-1 bridge with a lightweight aluminum stop bar tailpiece ensures impeccable intonation and pure Gibson Les Paul sustain. Other features include the use of period-correct plastics all throughout, nickel-plated brass sadles, and one-ply royalite binding.

The Gibson Custom 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Darkback Reissue VOS in Double Gold is not only a guitar, but a museum worthy artful recreation of its predecessor. It's a perfect instrument for collectors and players who want to stand out from the crowd and experience all of the benefits of a vintage Gibson guitar in a brand new build.

Great for walking all day at work as well
Size: X-Large, Color: (001) Black / Black / White
I walk approximately 10 miles a day at work, in a manufacturing setting. On concrete with steel toe shoes. My feet have been begging me to change from the socks that I have worn for years. I have worn these other name brand socks for probably 10 years. So, change was obviously something I had to be pushed into. I got on Amazon and searched for training socks. I read the description. Glanced at the reviews. I decided to move forward with purchasing these. I could not have been happier. My feet began feeling better immediately. And the priced was very reasonible.
