The Viking Kestrel ED 8x42 Binoculars provide a view that is 8x closer, ideal for tracking subjects, such as birds, in a variety of low light conditions. With a 2m minimum focusing distance, these Viking binoculars will provide stunning detail of birds and nature.
Crystal-clear Observations
Featuring ED (extra-low dispersion) glass objective lenses, dielectric coated phase corrected BAK 4 Prisms, and fully multicoated optics, the Viking Kestrel ED 8x42 Binoculars provide a sharp, crystal-clear field of view without colour distortion. The large 42mm objective lens diameter increases light transmission, producing a brighter image.
Ergonomic Features
Ergonomically designed for ultimate comfort, the Viking Kestrel ED 8x42 feature a rubber armoured exterior to ensure a firm grip even when wearing gloves. As well as twist down eyecups and 17.2mm eye relief so both glasses and non-glasses wearers can enjoy comfortable, strain-free observation sessions.
The Viking Merlin ED 8x42 Binoculars are compact and lightweight, weighing only 692g, making them extremely portable and easy to hold during observations.
Built to Experience
The Viking Kestrel ED 8x42 are waterproof for up to 1.5m/3min and nitrogen filled lenses to ensure extra protection against moisture and to reduce fogging.
