Furious, the Dragon King retaliated by summoning storms to flood Chen Tang Pass, targeting Nezha’s father. To protect his family, Nezha sacrificed himself by disemboweling his body and returning his bones to his parents.

Later, with the help of Taiyi Zhenren, Nezha was reborn using the power of lotus flowers. With his new divine body, he returned stronger, stormed the Dragon Palace, captured the Dragon King, and restored peace to the four seas.
