Botanical Name: Aloe hybrid (related to Aloe ramosissima)
Common Name: Aloe Ramosissima Hybrid
Family: Asphodelaceae
Origin: Horticultural hybrid, with traits from Aloe ramosissima (native to Southern Africa)
Aloe Hybrid 'Ramosissima' is a beautiful and architectural succulent, prized for its branching shrub-like form and stunning foliage. Its thick, grey-green to bluish leaves grow in rosettes, often tinged with pink or red when exposed to full sun. The edges of the leaves may be lined with soft teeth, adding to its visual texture.
Unlike many compact aloes, this hybrid develops a more tree-like habit, forming woody stems that branch as it matures-an inherited trait from Aloe ramosissima. This makes it ideal as a feature plant in succulent gardens or large containers.
In the right conditions, it may produce tall, branching flower stalks with clusters of coral-pink to orange tubular blooms that attract bees and birds.
Care Tips:
-
Sunlight: Provide full sun to partial shade for optimal growth and flowering.
-
Watering: Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings.
-
Soil: Use a well-draining cactus or succulent mix.
The succulent plant housed in the black pot comes in a 130mm diameter container. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same. Plants will be shipped as bare root.
