- Test the condition of your battery and alternator
- Connect the crocodile clip to battery terminal and check alternator or battery
- Easy to use
INSTRUCTIONS
- Connect the red crocodile clip to the positive (+) battery terminal
- Connect the black crocodile clip to the negative (-) battery terminal
Battery Check
- Switch on the vehicle lights for 1-2 minutes
- Disconnect the battery from the vehicle
- Wait 10 minutes
- Connect the tester
Alternator Check
- Run the vehicle with all electrical equipment off (lights, radio...)
- Run the vehicle with all electrical equipment on (lights, radio...)
- The green LED should light on both tests meaning the alternator is GOOD
- A red LED indicates the alternator is over charging : must be controlled
- No LED light indicates the alternator may not be charging : must be controlled
