Important Notes
  • Shocks are fully serviceable. Lift heights indicated are for a stock equipped vehicle.
  • Advertised lift height ranges are for a stock equipped vehicle. Increasing weight of vehicle due to accessories will alter lift range.
  • Not compatible with vehicles equipped with Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension.
  • For 4WD models without TRD Off-Road package ICON recommends using ICON Diff Drop (Part# 55156) or using Toyota TRD axles (Part# 434200C020 Driver / 434100C020 Pass). Failure to do so could result in front axle damage. Not required for TRD Pro.
  • Not compatible with Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) equipped vehicles
  • Requires recalibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) after install
  • If equipped with TRD aluminum skid plate part # 55164 is also required
  • Most Sequoia submodels will have front lift height range of 3-4.5" over stock and 2" of rear lift over stock. Submodels equipped with TRD Off-Road Package and TRD Pro will have a front lift height range of 1-2.5" over stock and remain at stock height in the rear. If taller rear ride heights are desired, consider kit part number K53238S.
Manufacturer Description

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 8 complete suspension system for the 2023-2025 Toyota Sequoia helps to free up the rear suspension movement while gaining strength and ground clearance with the addition of ICON billet aluminum rear lower links. This system offers improved on- and off-road performance, with significantly increased rear shock performance and heat dissipation, as well as improved alignment specs and increased front-end lift height range for a proper stance and fitment of up to 35" tires. To compliment the billet aluminum rear lower links, a 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilover shock and billet aluminum front upper control arm combo is included along with a front sway bar drop kit, dual rate rear coil springs and 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks. This Stage 8 system features the 2023-2025 Toyota Sequoia VS 2.5 Series remote reservoir front coilovers. These adjustable coilovers allow up to 3-4.5" of lift height adjustability over stock when using the ICON billet front upper control arms, allowing the use of larger, more aggressive wheel and tire combinations. ICON’s Vehicle-specific shock length and valving along with the larger 2.5" shock body and increased piston area over stock components yield the maximum travel possible (up to 40% increase over stock) along with superior ride quality and suspension performance both on- and off-road. Remote reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade. The included ICON billet aluminum upper control arm kit is designed to improve the overall performance of the 2023-2025 Toyota Sequoia with corrected front-end geometry, increased on-vehicle camber and caster adjustment, and improved suspension component clearance. Additionally, replacing the OE ball joint with the all-new, serviceable, and rebuildable ICON Delta Joint PRO allows for full bump and droop travel of the front suspension while eliminating bind. The included sway bar drop brackets help minimize sway bar link bind through the suspension travel range. This helps the suspension move more freely and allows for the full range of wheel travel without overstressing any OE components. ICON billet aluminum adjustable rear lower links are made from CNC machined 6061 aluminum and anodized for corrosion resistance. This rear lower link arm kit features PTFE-lined FK rod ends for increased suspension articulation, reduced deflection, and on-vehicle link arm length adjustability using ICON’s double adjuster system. Additionally, multi durometer bushings are installed that allow for noise free operation and maximum angularity without the need for periodic greasing and/or other maintenance. The dual-rate rear coil design provides a softer ride height spring rate with a firmer overload rate that combine to deliver on-road comfort with excellent bottoming resistance and superior off-road performance. Designed for shorter rear ride heights, these coil springs yield 2" of rear lift over stock on a non-TRD Sequoia or 0" of rear lift height on a Sequoia equipped with the TRD Off-Road package, allowing for level a stance front to rear. Rounding out the Stage 8 suspension system are 2.5 Aluminum Series rear remote reservoir shocks specially tailored for the 2023-2025 Toyota Sequoia. The 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks’ larger diameter offers outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. Remote reservoirs ensure optimum performance by increasing the duration of consistent damping regardless of situation, keeping the shocks at a cooler operating temperature during heavy use. They also feature a unique internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force to help better control hard bottom outs. Their pairing with the ICON V.S. 2.5 Series front coilovers results in balanced vehicle control from front to rear and an excellent overall driving experience for your Sequoia.

Good for basic x86 64 but avx coverage is horrible.

After having read Irvine 7th I had a good knowledge of x32 but soon enough I realized it’s all obsolete so now it’s on to Hyde 64. The hello world program involves interfacing to c++ and assembly/linking with batch commands. Really? I’m using visual studio ide have you heard of build and run? Hyde doesn’t even mention the debugger and without this tool assembly language is impossible. But I was already familiar with this after reading Irvine so I was ok. The following chapters 2 to 9 about 600 pages worth are great so for what I paid the book is 4 stars. Great explanation, lots of complete programs. Now it’s time for parallel processing via Simd and avx and this is chapter 11, over 100 pages of instructions with no examples. It could be useful for reference but actually, no. Amidst all the formats, memory operand and register sizes the actual explanations of the instructions are vague. Well that defeats the purpose of thumbing this chapter as a reference doesn’t it? But where Hyde fails Kusswurm modern x86 begins. If you’ve made it this far sell Hyde, Irvine, and buy Kusswurm. Then you’ll have Jedi powers like me.

It benefits the high-level language programmers - Listing formatting good now

Even if not writing assembly code directly, it benefits the high-level language programmer to understand the CPU architecture and instruction set. You can help the compiler do a better job by writing your code with the hardware in mind. When it comes to debugging, it can be helpful to look at things at the assembly level. And if you are programming with SIMD intrinsics, you are still programming in assembly language and understanding the architecture is necessary. This book gets you up to speed with all the above and more. Also, the listing formatting problem that others have mentioned seems to have been fixed. I deleted the months old download from my device, downloaded again, and the listing were now good. Tested on an iPad, a Kindle Paperwhite, and a MacBook Pro.

Bible on x64 Assembler, but not for coding beginners.

The best way to review this book is in two parts, 1st a review of the book, 2nd to address the negative reviews about the readability of the code in the Kindle edition which is the one I have. I have several books on Assembly Language, starting with the long out of print 1986 “Peter Norton’s Assembly Language Book for the IBM PC.” Over the years I have acquired several books on Assembly Language. I find Randall Hyde’s book to be hands down the best reference and most in depth book on x86/x64 Assembly language. What I feel separates Hyde’s book from others is it goes into detail on each register and machine function. Which is then backed up with numerous illustrations to help explain the concepts, code, and quizzes to test your understanding. This is not a book for coding beginners on x86/x64 Assembly, IMO, as the author jumps right in with examples that I feel are too complex and too verbose for the novice. To help fill in the gaps alongside this book, I recommend using Mike McGrath’s, “Assembly x64 Programming in easy steps”, which guide the novice with colorful illustrations step by step, on the processor, number systems, linking, and building basic Assembly programs, in byte sized chunks, that are easy to understand for the novice. Also, a basic knowledge of C++ will be needed to use this book, as several example C++ programs make Assembly calls from within the program. Again, I recommend Mike McGrath’s “C++ Programming in easy steps.” For a basic review if you lack C++ knowledge. You’ll need the free IDE Visual Studio 2022 Community edition (not VS Code) with the C++ libraries, as that is where the MASM is located. As for the readability of the code in the Kindle version, there is a workaround which is better than reading the code from the book. A link is provided to download all the code listed in the book in a zip file. Most of the code is organized by listing number from the book. Once VS2022 is on your computer, double-click on the download file you’re interested in and the code will open properly formatted in VS2022 as shown in the attached images. You will be able to interact with the code, which is more productive than just reading from the book. This is an excellent book on x86/x64 Assembly language, looking forward to volume 2. After reading this book, the only way to get further in depth knowledge of the x86 processor IMO is from Intel's massive 4 volume reference.
