Ingredients: Organic; Flour, Cane Sugar, Lemon Zest, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Dehydrated Strawberries, Apple Juice Concentrate, Sunflower Oil, Non-GMO Pacific Coarse Salt.
Makes 8-10 4-inch pancakes.
You will need:
- 1 cup Milk and 1 tsp Lemon Juice (or 1 cup Buttermilk)
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Egg
- 3 tbsp Melted Butter
Directions:
- Rehydrate the strawberries in 1/2 cup hot water or fruit juice for 5 minutes
- Strain berries from liquid
- Whisk the dried ingredients in a large bowl, then blend in milk, lemon juice (or butter milk), and egg until smooth. Do not overmix.
- Stir in melted butter. Fold in stawberries. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour batter onto hot griddle and cook each side until golden brown.
