AVANT D'ACHETER : il est courant pour les néophytes de se tromper de diagnostic. Les pannes de carte pilote LED produisent soit une absence d'image (le son continue de jouer)/ soit une télé affectée de variations de luminosité ou d'image qui part et revient. Il est dur de différencier la panne de carte pilote LED des pannes de kit LED, car les symptômes sont les mêmes. Pour déterminer l'élément en panne, il faut savoir prendre les mesures de tension, sinon le diagnostic sera fait à la légère.
Dans les cas suivants, par exemple, CE N'EST PAS votre carte pilote LED :télé affiche sombre d'un côté (c'est votre kit LED) / image affectée de stries ou bandes bien droites verticales ou horizontales (c'est votre dalle), image qui fluctue (c'est votre dalle ou votre nappe LVDS), image dédoublée par endroit (c'est votre dalle).
Le remplacement d'une carte pilote LED demande du temps car une bonne partie de la télé doit être démontée. Ne vous lancez pas dans cette opération si vous n'êtes pas sûr d'y parvenir. Toutes les cartes proposées sont fonctionnelles, merci de bien diagnostiquer la panne, bien vérifier la référence de la carte et celle de la télé (ne pas commander pour une autre marque ou modèle), assurez-vous que, les connectiques et les branchements sont identiques. GREAT way to view TV
On initial set up and use of just few days I love this little light bar
I'm 74 and I set this up in less than 10 min. Playing with Govee App took about same time for basic functions.
The backlighting is great and now my room is lighted during night when I sleepwalk to bathroom.
I'll decide later if I want to use adhesive pads. Currently it just sits on TV stand behind TV.
All in all it's great! I would definitely buy again and highly recommend.
Colors in photos are actually less bright in my room. The Govee App allows many many color variations. Just set up and create color palate for favorite colors and patterns. Eezee Peezee

Outstanding TV backlight edition

This is an excellent addition to a TV backlight. If you go into the GOVEE app you can sync this device to a TV backlight with a camera. You can add up to five lights.
I recommend this for either a TV backlight or general ambience in the room at night.
UPDATE 2025: I actually have 4 of these.
3 of them I synced with the TV strip light/camera using the GOVEE app for TV watching.
The 4th one I use is on ambience lamp.
These are made very durable/easy to set up. These things are not cheaply made

Look nice and were an easy setup.

Simple and do what they are supposed to do. I use them to add a bit of flare to my desktop setup for online meetings, etc. If I had to nitpick, I'd say cabling is always interesting to route to reduce desk clutter, but I am not going to remove a star for what pretty much has to be. They look nice too.

Good, but missing white (ww) hues hurt performance

I bought these lights just a little over a year ago, and overall I’m pleased with them. I bought them because standard strip lighting does not work well with the shape of my ultra flat TV, something I did not consider on purchasing the TV.
The lighting effects that these can produce are really impressive, at times you can see what appears to be the individual LEDs and the effects are somewhat more granular or pixelated than other lights from GOVEE.
The issue I have with these lights is that they are not able to produce cool, white and warm white, and they do not render colors like other bulbs from GOVEE. Colors on these lights tend to be brighter than every other light source I have from Govee, including their lightbulbs and their floor lamps. Although I knew about the white rendering, I did not realize how annoying it would be to see warm, white and cool, white rendered poorly on these TV lights. If you want to truly seamless and integrated looking product, I suggest you look elsewhere as these aren’t quite there. If you don’t care or are using these in a room where you don’t have any other light sources from Govee, then go for it — you’ll love them.
