SKU: 101-1019

Fits all 2024-Up Kawasaki Ridge 1000 models (92HP & 116HP)

  • Our S1 Ridge clutch kit packs a huge punch!  No matter the terrain, they hit hard and just keep pulling for days.  On the farm, trail or at the race you'll notice wicked acceleration and instant clutch response when getting back into the throttle after hammering that corner.  In the dunes you'll see the same benefits, but also have much less bogging when climbing that big dune.  The machine will hold RPM so you can get where you need to go, and get there faster!  Going mudding?  Our mud setup will help turn those tires through the thick and deep with much better RPM and wheel speed that's key to climbing out of that hole. Are you a rock crawler?  Our smooth engagement and precise feel down low will give you the confidence to tackle any obstacle.  We have a huge amount of CVT knowledge, a great passion for the sport, and spent many hours testing different setups in the real world.  We know you'll be extremely pleased with the performance gain from our clutch kits!
  • The Ridge has some clutching issues right out of the box because the OEM weighs are soft, just like the KRX models.  Being these vehicles are geared so low, the clutch constantly runs at full shift over 50 MPH.  Being at full shift for so long wears the weights away at the tip and will groove them.  This makes the vehicle want to sit at full shift and shift inconsistently.  Our weights go through two hardening processes and are through hardened for the most longevity possible.  They have no bushing as it's not needed with the hardened weight, which also makes them last longer.  Not only that, but they are fully adjustable for different tires/modifications and perform better because of how the mass is placed on the arm.
  • The original Ridge clutch kit!  When Kawi first released the Ridge, we had one on order so we could quickly get to work.  After hundreds of different tests with weight profiles, clutch setups, and spring changes we found the best combination possible.
  • S1 kits include our AA Recoil magnetic adjustable clutch weights, AA dark green primary spring & setup guideline.
  • Our setup guideline will let you know how to set your weights for stock horsepower, tuned horsepower, 27-35" Tires, paddles & more.
  • Fully adjustable magnetic weights are easy to use and adjust
  • We have 3 different clutch weight configurations for your riding type, and they can be switched out when/if needed:
    • For reference, stock cruising RPM @ 50mph is normally 7700-8000 RPM
    • Standard clutch setup:  Our main clutch weight setup guide.  This is the best middle ground for belt grip, performance, and drivability.  Cruising RPM @ 50 MPH is typically  6200-6500.  Peak RPM at wide open should be 7600-7800.
    • Cruiser clutch weight setup:  On our clutch weight setup guide, it will list a cruiser option for those wanting to lower overall RPM to make the vehicle quieter. This is aimed at those that don't need every horsepower, but want a smoother/quieter ride.  Cruising RPM @ 50 MPH is typically 5500-5800.   Peak RPM at wide open should be 6300-6700.
    • All our performance setup:  Our clutch weight setup guide, it will list the all out performance setup which has you run the weight arms with no magnets.  This will give you maximum RPM/Performance from your ridge.  This will engage a little higher than the other setups and will run higher RPM all around, but will absolutely rip if that's what you are looking for.  Cruising RPM @ 50 MPH is typically 6500-7000.  Peak RPM at wide open should be 7800-8100.
  • By design, our clutch weights have more tip weight mass with a more aggressive profile, so they grip the belt harder and accelerate faster... yet still crawl even better than OEM.
  • A must-have when changing tires, tuning your machine, or running paddles
  • Cooler running belt temps from a more efficient power transfer which results in longer belt and clutch life
  • Big acceleration gains and better power transfer to the rear wheels.
  • Close to stock engagement which is very smooth
  • Our Recoil clutch weights are easily adjustable with simple magnets.  They have a custom AA profile, the BEST coating on the market (nitrocarburizing) which has increased wear resistance, improved fatigue strength, and added surface lubricity. These clutch weights also offer great performance, and the ability to tune for many different applications or modification in the future, without the need to buy extra parts.  The magnetic weights are the best option to properly place the mass where we need it on the weight for best performance for your application.
  • We found the stock secondary clutch to work very well, this kit is just for the primary clutch.
  • Make sure you check peak RPM @ 30-50 MPH, it should be 7400-7700 RPM for peak performance with factory ECU tuning or 7600-8000 RPM for peak performance with AA ECU tuning.  See here on how to test:  https://aftermarketassassins.com/tech-blog/f/clutch-testingverification#
  • Overdrive Option:  These clutches do not shift fully and therefor your RPM runs high quickly at higher speeds.  Shifting further into overdrive helps give you more top speed, and higher speeds without so much RPM.  To do this, we had to design a custom weight profile with slightly added length.  We have two methods for this.  The best option is our billet  overdrive Revolver cover which allows the clutch to shift further and properly limit and this is much stronger than the cast OEM plate.   The second method is to use our overdrive washers to space your OEM cover out which works, but is a little more hassle to install and more parts to worry about... plus, the OEM cover is weak, so it's best to replace it if you can.
  • With the overdrive option we see around 76-79mph with our cruiser setup, and you can see 80-85mph with our standard or performance clutch weight setups
  • You will need belt removal bolts (M10-1.25 x 50mm) which we have as an optional item
  • Highly recommend upgrading to the billet overdrive Revolver Clutch Cover with Tower Lock for increased strength an further clutch shift out

Great Fit, Lightweight, and Totally Quiet
Size: 11, Color: New Black05
Great fit and very comfortable once you pick the right size. Lightweight, breathable, and completely silent on hard floors. No squeaks or “suction” sounds like some reviews claimed. Normal packaging, normal opening, no issues at all. Excellent value for the price.

Most comfortable shoes I've ever worn
Size: 11, Color: New Black05
First off, I was not expecting much buying a no-name shoe online, especially for the price. Boy was I in for a surprise... I've owned these for almost a full year, and can confidently say these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I normally wear a size 11 and these fit me perfectly. Prior to this the most comfortable shoes I had were some Cole Haans with the Nike air technology. These shoes are so lightweight, so comfortable, I can wear them all day long without feeling a thing. Whenever I (rarely) need to wear a different pair of shoes, I am immediately reminded of how much I used to hate wearing shoes and couldn't wait to take them off. Based on the price, I expected them to wear down quickly. However they are still going strong. Running, hiking, long walks, biking, worn to office / casual events. These shoes have been soaked in mud multiple times, but clean up easily by just throwing them in the washing machine and then the dryer. The soles and the insoles have both worn down a bit over the past year; at this rate I expect to get 1.5 to 2 years out of them before needing to be replaced. So far I must have put at least a thousand miles on these shoes based on how much I wear them. They look good too. I have the all-black pair, and they look decent with jeans and a button up shirt for a night out, but also look natural in an athletic setting with shorts and no socks. Very versatile and subtle. Now for the cons, which are minor. The pattern on the bottom of the sole is prone to some squeaking/suction sounds at first. However after about a month some of the ridges wore down just enough that it was no longer a problem. Second: they are not as breathable as I would have liked. For example, when running or biking, you don't feel any air on your feet. Wearing them out in the sun on a hot summer day, your feet will get a bit stuffy. In fact the fabric is woven tight enough that I wear them in the winter and in the rain, and don't get too cold or wet. So I do wish they made a more breathable version for summer time use. All that being said, these are still the best pair of shoes I've ever had. Ultra light weight, comfortable, and can be worn all day long without feeling any fatigue whatsoever. --- UPDATE: It's been 1 year and 9 months, and the soles on these shoes are fully worn out and ready for replacement. Considering I've put between 1,000-2,000 miles of walking in these, that's pretty good. If anyone from Feethit is reading this, here are my top suggestions to perfect this shoe: 1) Easy fix - change the tread pattern. The current pattern causes suction cup effect on hard floors until it starts to wear down. Simply add some gaps in the circle pattern in the tread and it will remedy that issue. 2) Most importantly, put a thin piece of durable rubber on the bottom of the sole. The sole does wear down after some time and lose traction, especially on smooth wet floors (e.g. in the rain, in a kitchen, etc.). A thin piece of durable rubber would add more traction and also extend the life of the cushion-like sole (which is fantastic, don't change it!). This would easily be worth an extra $5-$10 in the price.

Nice shoes, despite the squeak and inconsistent sizing
Size: 12, Color: Black White 05
Excellent shoes at this price point. Quite comfortable. They do tend to have a nasty squeak on tile floors, sort of like a suction cup being engaged and disengaged. I bought the navy blue and went back and bought the black. I have to say that the size varied greatly. With the second pair, I have to be sure to wear thin socks and even then, I struggle to get them on, despite having an extremely narrow foot. I'm not sure that a person with an average width foot could wear them. Buyer beware. You may need to go up a size.
