Metacanthina maderensis Moroccan trilobite. The glabella (head shield) with robust genal spines, the thorax with thoracic segments clearly defined, and the pygidium (tail) displaying the frilly skirt typical of this type, all sections and components are in an excellent preserved state and have been further enhanced for display being prepared and cleaned of the matrix from around the carapace, by highly adapted micro-pneumatic pens and abrasive air equipment in the fossil Lab, of good size and detail. We strongly endorse this specimen as a superior collector's choice. Includes a beautifully designed acrylic display box.
