清光緒年間，鹿港糕餅先驅--鄭槌先生自泉州來台，後設立鄭玉珍餅鋪，從此開創了糕餅茶點的新紀元。
鄭槌由於糕餅手藝技巧高超，所作糕餅口感絕佳，更創新口味，其間創作出最盛名的糕餅； 如鳳眼糕、豬油米老、石花糕，參加全國名產調查會，全國飲食糧品大品評會榮獲金牌賞，這些糕餅，因而流傳至今，成為鹿港名產的由來。
