It's though to be uniquely associated with the Portuguese personality - though of course that's part is nonsense, since that idea pierces me to my very heart. Uh, in a good way of course. 

So how to visualize that? Impossible. Until I found this b*tshit vintage retro sci-fi paperback cover: I have no effing clue what's going on here, but the mood and tone of it seems to be perfect: I can feel all the saudade pulsing like a neutron star in every pixel of this.
