This PiCAN board provide CAN-Bus capability for the Raspberry Pi. It uses the Microchip MCP2515 CAN controller with MCP2551 CAN transceiver. Connection are made via DB9 or 3 way screw terminal.

Activate the interface with
# ip link set can0 up type can bitrate 500000
Connect the PiCAN to a CAN-bus network and monitor traffic by using command:
# ./candump can0
You should see something like this:
To send a CAN message use :
# ./cansend can0 7DF#0201050000000000
This will send a CAN ID of 7DF. Data 02 01 05 - coolant temperature request

Nice and Snug.
This fits nice and snug in my husband's 2021 Tesla Y. I like the color and how it matches well with the interior of his car. It holds his water bottle really tight. This will be perfect for transporting drinks from take out restaurants, too. I also like how the holder is very easy to clean. There is a little notch too when you need to place your keycard and helps determine the direction to place the cup holder.
