This dual keyboard synth is essentially two rev 3 Prophet 5 synthesizers with a sequencer in one beautiful massive package.
This unit came to us in pretty nice shape and has been fully refurbished and future-proofed to the highest standards to make it better than the rest and to hopefully keep it running flawlessly well into the future. This was a huge amount of work that makes it much more valuable than others on the market, though there will unfortunately always be other sellers who try to get similar prices for their way inferior instruments.
The tape drive inside this unit has not been tested and is in unknown condition. The times we've inspected them, the rubber belts have been broken, as rubber gets hard and brittle and breaks with age, so this is likely to be the case in this example too. Nobody we know uses these tape drives anymore and we don't even have tapes for them to even test them, so we're leaving this tape drive the way it is. The same basic sound has been written to all memory locations so this unit's memory is ready for you to program your own new set of patches into it. This unit's been systematically tested and all features other than the tape drive are working as they should. As you can see from the photos, this is one fine specimen. It sounds great too!
