Tequila Ocho Barrel Proof Reposado is an uncut, full-strength expression produced from 100% Blue Weber agave grown at a single estate and distilled by Carlos Camarena at La Alteña Distillery in Arandas, Jalisco. Like all Tequila Ocho releases, each bottling highlights a specific rancho and harvest year, emphasizing vintage and terroir in a way more commonly associated with wine.

The tequila is aged in ex-American whiskey barrels before being bottled at barrel proof without dilution, preserving the full texture and concentration developed during maturation. The profile layers cooked agave, citrus, black pepper, vanilla, oak spice, and caramel with a richer, more powerful structure than the standard reposado release while maintaining the bright agave character that defines the house style.
